How much does Descript cost?

The Descript platform currently offers four different plans: Free, Creator, Pro, and Enterprise. Below, we break-down the costs and benefits of each plan to date.

Free plan

Descript offers a Free plan with basic editing features, one hour of transcription and remote recording a month, and a 1,000-word vocabulary. Videos are limited to 720p resolution and one watermark-free export a month. 

Creator

For $12 a month, members of the Creator Plan have access to 10 hours of transcription and remote recording a month, unlimited watermark-free exports and 4k resolution. Like the Free plan, vocabulary is still limited to 1,000 words.

Pro

Descript Pro users pay $24 a month for 30 hours of transcription and remote recording per month, unlimited vocabulary and watermark-free exports, and 4k resolution.

Enterprise

Descript’s Enterprise plan, made for content-creating teams and companies, offers everything Pro does plus an account representative, Single Sign-On, unlimited cloud storage and more. The Enterprise plan is customized to users needs and members can contact Descript for pricing.
